Learn Phrasal Verbs | Online English Lessons

Most learners of English know that phrasal verbs are important because they occur frequently in everyday speech; and because they are also common in written texts, and some formal English.

They know that being able to understand and use them confidently will make their informal speech sound more natural and more accomplished, and will help them get good marks in their English exams.

But I often hear and read that phrasal verbs are very difficult to learn, and I often get emails asking me about the best ways to learn them.

The most common complaints I hear are that they are boring to learn, and difficult to remember.

However, I don’t think they should be difficult to learn and I’d like to show you why they can be much easier to learn than you think, and I’d like to teach you simple strategies you can include in your daily life that will help you successfully learn the ones you need.

How do you feel about them?

► Do you find learning phrasal verbs from text books a bit boring?

► Does trying to memorize them from long lists just confuse you?

► Do you need lots of examples in real-life contexts?

► Do you wish you knew some excellent ways of learning them that you can use whenever you want to learn new words?

► Would you like to learn with resources that are motivating and make learning fun?
